Awww Randy Cunneyworth!

Last night I was working as the receptionist (I’m the one in pink lol) and Felix as the Hostess LOL! We always do this anyway aside from being managers, which is great, because we are with the customers in a way and we know what’s going on. Anyway, near 7:30 PM, I got a phone call from a man who wanted to know if he needed to reserve a table for two persons, afraid the restaurant would be already packed. So I’m telling him that it’s ok and that he can come in as soon as he can. The fun started when he told me that he was coming with GUY LAFLEUR! At first I wasn’t sure if I had heard right or if it was someone pranking me LOL! But no, I had heard right and of course I told him there was a Table for both of them!! All thrilled and excited I am as I’m running toward Felix while this one is having trays in his hands, babbling out that Guy Lafleur would be there in 30 minutes!!!! Two weeks ago, Patrick Roy came eating at the restaurant where I work, but we rapidly understood that he wasn’t in the mood for a picture which really disappointed me, because I wanted a shot with him and we would have hung his picture on our Celebrities Wall we have at the reception of the restaurant! Too bad! Anyway, Guy Lafleur arrived at the restaurant near 8 PM and damn what a tall and in Shape man he is!! Of course as the receptionist an assistant Manager, I needed to stay cool and professional! As soon as I laid my eyes on him, I smiled to him and he did the same! We shook hands, and a good firm hand shake!! This guy has such a strong and firm handshake, I was fucking impressed! I told him to wait here for my manager, because I wanted Guy Lafleur to have the best table possible…. Well I almost shit my pants when Felix gave Guy Lafleur the table #329 in the Pub section. The reception is right across the Pub, and Guy Lafleur was facing me the whole time he was sitting there! FUCKING GREAT! The Table was right across the reception! I guess he wanted People to see him XD

Few Minutes later, a young boy with his father entered in the restaurant and they asked me for a pen and a sheet. I could tell the boy was excited and shy at the same time. He wanted a Guy Lafleur Autograph and it’s with pleasure that Mr. Lafleur accepted to sign an autograph for the young boy. They both left happily and they of course gave me back my pen that Guy Lafleur used to sign the autograph! I need to keep that Pen LOL! I was quite glad that Mikael our second Chef cook was there tonight, because Guy Lafleur did enjoy his meal and before he left, we asked him for a picture and the waitress that had served him wanted as well a picture with him, so I told her to come with me for the picture and voila! Funny he was as he wrapped his arms around me and Marie-Michelle for the Picture! He then shook our hands, paid his bills and left! Not only Guy Lafleur was a great hockey player, but he’s a great and nice man! Really appreciated his visit to where I work!
